As we expand our operations, we are formalizing our executive structure and establishing complete personnel records for all leadership roles.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of ACOSAT’s financial strategy, policies, and long‑term planning.
Establish and oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting frameworks.
Ensure compliance with Canadian financial regulations, CRA requirements, and audit standards.
Manage financial risk, cash‑flow planning, and capital‑allocation strategies.
Oversee financial operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and reconciliations.
Work closely with bookkeeping and finance staff to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare financial statements, management reports, and board‑level presentations.
Support corporate governance, internal controls, and financial integrity systems.
Coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory bodies.
Provide financial leadership to support ACOSAT’s expansion across Canada and the USA.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align financial strategy with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
CPA designation preferred but not required
5–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience
Strong understanding of Canadian accounting standards (ASPE) and CRA compliance
Experience in early‑stage or scaling organizations is an asset.
Demonstrated ability to build financial systems, processes, and controls
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Proficiency with financial software and digital reporting tools
