Clear Results
You receive a clear verification response indicating the record status made available by the issuing organization at the time of verification.
What the Status Means
✓ VERIFIED
A matching active record was located within the issuer's registry at the time of verification.
? NOT FOUND
No matching record was located within the issuer's registry at the time of verification.
! INACTIVE
A record was located but is marked by the issuer as expired, suspended, revoked, replaced, withdrawn, or otherwise inactive.
What Verification Does — and Doesn't — Confirm
AcoVERIFY verifies the existence and reported status of records made available by participating issuers. Verification does not independently confer or confirm:
- Legal ownership
- Product quality
- Professional competence
- Regulatory compliance
- Contractual rights
- Suitability for a particular purpose
Users should exercise their own judgment and conduct any additional due diligence appropriate to their circumstances.

AcoVERIFY does not:
- Issue credentials or certifications
- Make legal determinations
- Provide regulatory approvals
- Guarantee authenticity beyond the information provided by participating issuers
- Provide warranties regarding products, services, organizations, or individuals
- Act as a government authority, law enforcement agency, accreditation body, certification authority, or judicial body
- Determine truth
- Assume liability for issuer errors
Users remain responsible for their own decisions. Issuers remain the custodians of the underlying records. Verification outcomes reflect registry information available at the time of inquiry and may change if the issuer updates, corrects, revokes, suspends, or otherwise modifies a record.
