Location: Sudbury / Full‑Time Salary Range: $115,000 – $145,000.

Position Summary
ACOSAT Inc. is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the company’s technology vision, engineering strategy, and digital‑infrastructure development. The CTO will oversee system architecture, product development, cybersecurity posture, and technology governance across ACOSAT Canada and ACOSAT USA.
This executive role is responsible for building ACOSAT’s technical backbone, supervising engineering teams, and ensuring all technology initiatives align with organizational goals, modernization standards, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ACOSAT’s technology strategy, digital‑infrastructure roadmap, and long‑term technical vision.
Oversee system architecture, platform development, integrations, and modernization initiatives.
Manage engineering teams and guide the development of secure, scalable digital systems
Ensure compliance with Canadian and international cybersecurity, privacy, and data‑governance standards.
Oversee development of identity systems, workforce platforms, QR‑powered services, and digital‑transformation tools.
Maintain structured documentation for architecture, development, and technical governance.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Coordinate technology operations between ACOSAT Canada, ACOSAT USA, and international divisions.
Support R&D initiatives and collaborate with the Head of Innovations and R&D.
Prepare technical reports, system briefs, and executive‑level presentations.
Ensure reliability, security, and performance of all ACOSAT digital systems.
Build partnerships with technology vendors, institutions, and industry collaborators
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field
7–12 years of progressive technology leadership experience
Strong understanding of system architecture, digital‑transformation technologies, and secure infrastructure design
Experience leading engineering teams and managing complex technical projects
Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, privacy regulations, and compliance standards
Ability to build technology systems from the ground up in a growing organization
Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
Ability to manage confidential information and sensitive technical documentation
Proficiency with modern development tools, cloud platforms, and enterprise‑grade technologies
